SumUp, founded in 2012, is a pioneering company in the field of contactless electronic payment solutions. Their terminals are now indispensable for thousands of merchants around the world. Their mission? To simplify the lives of professionals by offering innovative solutions so they can focus on what they really love. With over 3,000 employees in 15 hubs worldwide, SumUp has been expanding rapidly for several years, and it was time for them to reinvent their Paris offices.

New offices

Faced with continuous growth and changing working patterns, SumUp wanted to transform its offices to create an environment where collaboration and employee well-being are at the heart. Our Design & Build teams therefore worked to rethink these spaces in order to better meet the needs of around 300 employees. In addition to reorganizing the workspaces, the project incorporated a strong eco-responsible dimension, with a clear commitment to reusing existing furniture and integrating second-hand elements. This sustainable approach corresponded perfectly to SumUp's values: audacity, ambition, team spirit and pleasure at work.

We worked closely with SumUp to transform their offices into a lively, dynamic place. New meeting rooms were created to facilitate exchanges, and a vegetal atmosphere was integrated into all spaces, including a veritable urban jungle recreated in the plaza, their communal space.

This innovative and singular choice contributes to the unique character of the offices, impossible to reproduce in a telecommuting environment.

The office refurbishment also aimed to encourage staff to return to work on site. By focusing on flexible, welcoming spaces, SumUp succeeded in making the offices attractive.
