The power of hospitality to enhance the work experience
With Deskeo, you're not just renting or fitting out offices, you're choosing a unique experience that reflects your image. The offer is based on three pillars: flexibility, lifestyle and hospitality, since Deskeo also promises scalable layouts to adapt to your growth and uses.
Explanations from Charlotte le Gouvello, Creative Director, and Gaël Lebreton, Head of Design & Build, in an interview with Le Figaro Partners, special report on office design.
Interview with Le Figaro Partners, special report on office design.
How does your offer stand out in the workspace design market?
Gaël Lebreton: Deskeo has positioned itself as a major player in office hospitality and lifestyle, combining flexibility, well-being and premium services in its layouts. Our spaces go beyond mere functionality: they are designed as inspiring, modular living spaces, where people can work, exchange ideas and recharge their batteries. To encourage employees to return to the office, we offer a complete experience, tailored to individual needs. Inspired by hotel codes, our projects integrate high-end services: lobby, barista, lounge, library, gym, while offering a professional, connected and optimized environment. The objective is clear: to combine well-being and performance, reconciling personal and professional life.
You also design offices in the image of companies...
Charlotte le Gouvello: We have customers who occupy our 100,000 m2 of fitted-out premises, but we also design bespoke spaces for them. In this Design & Build approach, we establish an exhaustive diagnosis of the customer's needs, based on the data collected in our operated spaces, in a Design Lab Experience logic. Our strength lies in this ability to listen and analyze, in order to offer a global solution: adapted to uses (flows, circulation, professions, etc.), focused on well-being (light, acoustic comfort, ergonomics, etc.) and aesthetics. In every project, we seek to design in a way that is fair and respectful of the environment.
How do you take this environmental dimension into account?
Charlotte le Gouvello: Deskeo recently obtained the B Corp label. This demanding label reinforces our responsibility as interior designers and specifiers at the design stage. When it comes to furniture, for example, we aim to increase the percentage of re-use via partners from the circular economy (recycling, upcycling or eco-design); we design fixtures and fittings with sustainable materials (FSC / PEFC, A+, C2C certified, etc.) while seeking to disassociate ourselves from floors, walls and ceilings, so that our spaces are entirely modular. Last but not least, we provide advice on consumption (water, energy, internet, coffee, etc.) so that our customers can adopt a sober approach.
Your offer also goes beyond spaces in a single asset...
Gaël Lebreton: We know how to think in terms of a collection of workspaces: we offer different bricks that can be interconnected within the head office. These spaces are also accessible on “satellite” sites thanks to Hopper, a unique offering that transforms the work experience into one that combines flexibility, lifestyle and hospitality.
Who are your customers?
Gaël Lebreton: We work with scale-ups such as PlayPlay and Spotify, luxury houses like Van Cleef & Arpels, as well as major corporations like Decathlon and Octopus Energy, who appreciate Deskeo's added value. We currently have 180 corporate customers.
